Through diverse activities, FS 2s gained insightful knowledge about the concepts of Space, the sun, the moon, and the role of astronauts. The activities in FS 2s not only engaged but also inspired our little learners to explore the wonders of Space and understand the significance of astronauts.
FS2 students joined forces to create a beautiful canvas and gifted their masterpiece to their teachers at Winchester. They wished and greeted them on the special occasion of Teachers Day.
On October 4, 2023, FS2 celebrated "Road Safety Day," where children actively shared insights to aid road users in accident prevention. They engaged in discussions highlighting the importance of adhering to specific road safety rules designed for children. Additionally, the students showcased their creativity by creating posters. They met with the bus driver and school security to better understand safety measures on buses and within the school premises. Furthermore, the children gained practical experience by learning to adhere to traffic signs while riding bikes in the designated Bike area. We celebrated "SEWA day’ on the 3rd of October, and the children learned to appreciate “Dignity of labour”. Children made thank-you Badges and crafted beautiful bracelets for the support staff. They enjoyed dancing to the beat of the music with the drivers and bus nannies and helped the school gardener to water the plants. They loved singing songs of thankfulness and were engrossed in making a ‘Heart of Kindness’ card to express their gratitude towards the people who helped them. World Habitat Day helps us to remember each organism in the world needs their own space to live. Children of FS2 have gained an understanding of various methods to protect animals, such as giving food and water, aiding animals in need, and participating in environmental cleanup efforts. They crafted their favourite animal using playdough, newspapers and thread. They made posters and understood the importance of having living space for all organisms. |
