To celebrate the diversity of this beautiful country, our students came dressed in their traditional costumes. We invited our parents to share in the form of music, dance or speech about the cultures of their respective country. Fun activities including a parade, meeting a falcon face to face, henna, face painting and art and craft activities were conducted through the day. FS2 students participated in the various fun games with great energy and excitement. The little champs thrilled each one with their energetic and spirited enthusiasm. The children and parents of FS2 had a wonderful time. Field trips are times when children learn to play and learn, even outside school. As learning has no boundaries FS 2 children went for their first Field Trip to Al Quoz Pond Park. The class teachers and learning partners accompanied them. They had lots of fun with their friends and playing on the swings, slides, jungle - gym etc. and were thrilled to experience the joy of eating and socialising out in the open with their classmates. The main objective of the event was to create awareness about the meaning of tolerance. Through the week, FS2 children were made aware of the meaning of Tolerance. Activities like hand painting and poster making were organized to develop the value of tolerance in order to maintain peace on Earth. Children were delighted to make heart-shaped bracelets with kind words of tolerance and exchanged them with their peers. FS students celebrated ‘Well-being week’ with great joy. They understood the importance of having enough sleep and maintaining good mental, social and physical well-being. They watched a video and were engaged in various activities such as practicing mindfulness, yoga and breathing exercises.
