In FS2 Humanities Day, children were taken to a virtual field trip to a Museum where they saw different prehistoric animals and learnt many exhilarating facts about them. They enjoyed trying different dinosaur YOGA positions along with their parents and were encouraged to post their best Yoga positions on Padlet wall. Parents enthusiastically shared videos talking about Pre-historic animals using different techniques like virtual reality(ITC tool), books, pictures, etc. In the end of the lesson children were asked to come up with ideas for ‘What did people in the stone age use to decorate their caves when there was no paint?’. They creatively came up with ideas like stones, burnt wood ashes, berries, fruits, mud, etc. Children enjoyed making pre-historic paints using natural ingredients and created a beautiful Pre-historic art using those natural paints. They also shared their paintings in the Padlet link.
