Children made lanterns for school support staff to celebrate Ramadan
Children came all dressed in their comfortable cozy pyjamas with a soft toy tucked under their arm to enjoy the evening.The story "the giraffe cannot dance''was presented by the entire FS team teachers.Parents and children too enacted the same story to make the event a memorable one. Students of FS2 had a day to learn about earth day through fun and engaging activities which focused. A small presentation explaining ‘How we can play an important part in saving planet Earth’ was conducted by the teachers’ in their respective classrooms. FS2 children also presented PPT on ‘Saving the Earth’ to FS1 classes. Children enjoy singing go green songs and making poster on earth day. International Day of Happiness is celebrated on 20th March. This year’s theme is to share Happiness, focusing on the importance of relationship, kindness and helping each other. This day is more than just a fun celebration, It also reminds us that the world is a better place when we connect with and care the people around us. FS children celebrated this day by making thank you cards for their friends and support staff. They pamper them at the Winch saloon. Taking pictures at photo booth was so exciting and the highlight of the day was playing football game to score a Goal. “Educational games can add up a lot of fun as world maths day goes to show.” The Maths Day event held in school encouraged students to participate in Maths theme games. The aim was to help raise standards of numeracy. Children in FS2 enjoyed fun filled activities. They played online games, sang and danced on number songs and enjoyed various hands on activities. The Winchester School celebrated “Emirati Children’s Day” on 15th March. The aim was to raise the community awareness of children’s basic responsibility within the community and to sow the seed of tolerance and acceptance among children. In school, our children were dressed in their best attires- all the colours of the UAE. This day was celebrated by making cards, dancing, singing, making bracelets for their friends and by drawing what they like about themselves. |
