The FS2 kids were ecstatic to hop on a virtual bus and travel to the Dubai Aquarium. They recognize a number of fish that they are already familiar with, as well as learning the names of a few new species.
Children of FS2 started their day with sun salutation. The blended and distance learners as well as the FS2 teachers were all ready with their yoga mats to perform different yoga asanas. A video by a parent who is a yoga instructor was also shared. Children understood how yoga helps in keeping our body and mind healthy. After performing the yoga poses, they also practiced breathing exercises followed by meditation for a minute. The Graduation Day marks the precious moments of our little ones and offers an opportunity to celebrate the culmination of their Foundation Stage years. We captured the memories of our children growing through this academic year and presented it as videos. Children spoke about what they like and miss about the school. They were awarded with the graduation certificate. The teachers, children and parents were excited to attend the event. The children in FS2 were really delighted to dress up in sports attire. They began their day with some warm-up exercises and then learned a few body moves to stay fit. It was an action packed week for the little child of FS1. Some of the activities including drawing and describing the characters in the story, arranging numbers from 1 to 10 in in the correct order, meeting ORT characters, using shapes to create different objects and identifying the importance of a clean ocean. FS2 children shared the importance of reduce, reuse and recycle. They were excited to sort different objects cut-out to correct recycling bin. Children watched informative video and shared many ideas how they will work to reduce screen time. Children enjoyed celebrating I Dream and I Aspire day where they were encourage to dress up and talk about what they want to be when they grow. FS2 children celebrated Mother's Day today. They sang songs and made beautiful photo frames for their Mum. To celebrate World book day, the students of FS2 were encouraged to read their favourite book during registration time. |
